Skid Pan Training In line with many Advanced Motorist Groups we have access to Skid Pan Training facilities. What Happens? The special Skid Car has external castor wheels on hydraulic rams controlled by the instructor in the passenger seat who creates every skid condition imaginable – gently, and telling you what to do. Just when you think you have it sussed, an extra-icy or greasy or piece of road ‘suddenly happens‘ under your car and you remember just how very unexpected the unexpected can be. It is! Learning something so important is rarely such fun. The kit can change car-feel from front to rear-wheel drive. Everyone leaves the car after an hour with more skid-driving experience than most of us get in a lifetime. Ear-to-ear grins tell you that everyone had a great time. So can you.
