It’s Not Cool to Die Young!
This is the by-line of the Group’s New Competition
Recent reports indicate that young drivers in the 18 to 23 age bracket are more likely
to be involved in an accident than any other age group. Redditch and Bromsgrove
Advanced Motorists Group are mounting a local campaign which it is hoped will help
alleviate this growing problem.
Sixth form colleges are the principal target of this poster based campaign in which young drivers are
invited to submit a 1500 word essay entitled “The Importance of Good Driving Practice”. The authors
of the 6 best essays will each receive free entry into the IAM’s ‘Skills for Life’ Scheme, worth £139.
As a member of RBAM or as a member of the public we ask you to view the campaign poster and if
you live in the Redditch or Bromsgrove Area we would be delighted if you would print copies of the
poster and display them in prominent places in your community, especially where young folk are more
likely to see them.
